Blessing of the Backpacks | Wednesday, September 6, 5-7pm
As students make their way back to school, St. Cross invites you to a special blessing of the backpacks on the evening of Sept. 6th! There will be a simple meal, some back-to-school crafts and games, and of course the blessing of the backpacks. Not only will we bless backpacks, but we'll also provide a special blessing for students, parents, and teachers. All are welcome! Feel free to invite your friends. The event will go from 5-7pm with the blessing taking place at 6pm. For those who can't make it on Sept. 6th, please bring your backpack to church on Sept. 3 and we'll do a blessing at the 9am service just before Communion.
